The story of ONDO Roma begins one summer afternoon, with a box of colourful beads given to Ottavia by her mother. Together, they make their first necklaces. A small gesture becomes a ritual, a way to express themselves and cherish the time spent together.
That childhood memory inspired ONDO, where fine jewellery meets the joy of playing with shapes and colours. Personal creations to compose and reinterpret over time, each piece telling a story that is uniquely yours. An invitation to hold on to the sense of wonder we have as children, carrying it with us through a refined yet playful style.
THE MEANING BEHIND THE O
The name ONDO brings together the rounded form of the O and the idea of a world we can shape ourselves.
The O takes us back to childhood, to the freedom of creating through imagination. It is the first letter children learn to recognise, even before they know how to write it. Its circular shape also reflects the ever-evolving nature of life: a circle where every point can be a new beginning, never an end. An invitation to return to who we once were, rediscovering ourselves differently each time.
In the logo, it becomes an open parenthesis, a space to fill with who we are, our memories and new stories. Its roundness is echoed in the design of the jewellery, conceived to evolve alongside those who wear it.
